Making the Shift to Blended, Personalized Learning
The Christensen Institute predicts that blended learning will be the most prevalent form of online learning in K-12. iNACOL proposed that blended learning is, “not merely a theory or construct—it is an instructional model shift being implemented by schools throughout the country and the world.” Learn how the Natick Public Schools is implementing Blended Learning in grades K-12 to personalize instruction and to increase College and Career Readiness for all students. This session will highlight how Natick is working toward taking teaching and learning to the next level by using the Deeper Learning framework, Blended Learning instructional models and powerful online competency based data systems to drive personalization. The presentation will also include how we select, implement, manage and fund classroom data systems and how we increase teacher capacity to create blended, personalized learning environments for students.
